Scandia provides Overwrapping, Cartoning, and horizontal Case Packing for complete End of the Line Solutions. Overwrapping, also referred to as Tuck & Fold, enhances the appearance of cartoned products while protecting them from dust, moisture, insect infestation and other outside elements. Models range from semi-automatic to fully automatic with speeds to 500 ppm. Cartoning applications include individual or multiple unit loading, tray forming and loading, sleeving, and display cartoning with various product infeeds and interface options. Cartoning speeds are up to 200 cpm with tuck and/or hot-melt closure. Scandia’s Case Packers are designed for horizontal loading of cartoned products, with tape or hot-melt closure with speeds to 40+ cpm. Scandia also engineers complete packaging lines and integrates other manufacturer’s machinery including robots, labelers, laser coders, various product feeders, vision systems, etc. All machinery in manufactured and supported from our NJ facility.
